ATTENDANCE
According to CEC Regulations, you need a minimum of 80% attendance to pass the level. Consider the following information:
7-9 & 9-11 Classes:
From 7h00 / 9h00 - 7h10 / 9h10, no problem you can sign the attendance paper
From 7h11 / 9h11 - 7h20 / 9h20, you will be marked L (late) on the attendance paper.
From 7h21 / 9h21 - on , you will be marked A (Absent) on the attendance paper.
Consider:
3L= 1 A
More than 8 absences you NEED to:
a) request justification to the coordinator, and
b) obtain 83/100 points to pass the level
GRADES
According to CEC Regulations, you need 73/100 points to pass the level if you do not have any attendance problems. If you have attendance problems (more than 8 absences) you need to obtain 83/100 points to pass.
The grades for each exam are as follows:
Exam 1: 10 points
Exam 2: 15 points
Exam 3: 25 points
Exam 4: 30 points
Final oral exam: 10 points
*Classwork: 10 points
TOTAL: 100 points
* CLASSWORK GRADE
Workbook: 2 points
Quizzes and Written assignments: 2 points
Class participation
(individual/pair/group work,: 2 points
Use of English, oral production)
Project socialization: 4 points
TOTAL: 10 points
